Plunkett in place of Rabada IPL

The Indian Premier League (IPL) this season was scheduled to be played for the Delhi Daredevils, South African star pacer Kagiso Rabada said. But Protea pacer Jadeja was knocked out due to injuries before the start of the IPL. England's pace bowler Liam Plunkett was named in the squad in place of him.

Radda will have to rest for almost three months after being injured in the Test series against Australia. Delhi has taken him into the team for the 11th edition of IPL in 4.2. The team chose Plunkett as the bowler because of the Rabadare injuries.

Plunkett has already made his stiff position in the short-over game of the English camp. So far, 119 wickets in all 119 wickets in the English pacer has taken 110 wickets. Plankett played 13 Tests, 65 ODIs and 15 Twenty20s for the national team.

Delhi Daredevils will start IPL campaign on Sunday (April 8th) against Kings XI Punjab.
